    Terms and Conditions of this promotion

    General

    1. By participating in the CoinJar ‘Get €20 in Bitcoin When You Trade €50 in Crypto' bonus promotion (Promotion), each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions are binding.

    2. The promoter is CoinJar Europe Limited (registration number C496731) (CoinJar or Promoter).

    3. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion will be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

    Terms and Conditions

    When to enter

    1. The Promotion commences at 12am GMT on 26 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 30 April 2026 (Promotion Period). Entries must be received by the Promoter prior to the close date and time, and cannot be made in conjunction with any other promotions held by the Promoter during the same Promotion Period.

    2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

    How to enter

    1. To enter this Promotion you must: (i) start CoinJar’s identity verification process during the Promotion Period; (ii) be successfully ID-verified by 11:59pm on 30 April 2026; and (iii) trade at least €50 worth of crypto by 28 February 2026.

    2. Multiple entries are not permitted. Each entrant is limited to only one CoinJar account.

    3. Entrants can only enter once in their own CoinJar username. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the Promotion is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.

    4. If:

    • an account is not created and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Terms of Service; or
    • an entry is not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, then the entry is void.
    1. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.

    Prizes and Distribution

    1. CoinJar users that qualify for this Promotion will receive an equivalent of €20 in Bitcoin.

    2. The number of coins received will be calculated at the prevailing exchange rate on the day of distribution.

    3. The Bitcoin will be credited to your account within three weeks of completing €50 worth of trades.

    4. After the distribution is completed, the balance will appear in the user’s CoinJar account.

    5. The Promoter reserves the right to alter the rules for the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

    Further Terms and Conditions

    1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.

    2. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as part of the Promotion. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss (including indirect and consequential loss) suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission (including deliberate or negligent acts or omissions) by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods or services by any person to the entrant. This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under relevant laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.

    3. Subject to complying with all relevant legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Promotion if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion.

    4. The Promoter and their associated companies or agencies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

    5. Employees and their immediate family members, contractors, sub-contractors and agents of CoinJar and its related entities are excluded from participating in this Promotion.

    6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and by participating in the Promotion you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

    1. The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards detailed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.coinjar.com/ie/privacy.

    2. You can contact the Promoter's Privacy Officer if you would like the details of the personal information that the Promoter may hold about you or if you would like to be corrected. Our Privacy Officer can be contacted at support@coinjar.com.

    3. Your privacy is important to us. Your information is collected by the Promoter and will be used and held in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    4. We may send you service communications relating to the products or services we provide you via email (e.g. to inform you about changes to the product or service you requested from us, revisions of our Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy). As such service communications are necessary for the purposes of providing you with our products or services or complying without legal obligations, you will not be able to opt-out from receiving them.

    5. Subject to your choices, we may also send you marketing communications via email. In addition to the “unsubscribe” link contained in each of our e-mail marketing communications, you may opt-out freely and at any time of receiving CoinJar newsletters or other e-mail marketing communications from CoinJar by sending an e-mail to privacy@coinjar.com.
